Description: The Provincial Forge is a project by David Osbaldeston and Joe Devlin that aims to imaginatively cannibalise pre-existing published forms of artistic practice influenced by and directly using the material of conversations originating elsewhere.

In a setting devoted to the historical preservation of the widest spectrum of endeavour in human research & knowledge, The Provincial Forge will, through memory and recall, aim to produce a visual synthesis of artistic thinking embodied through a commitment to the strangely human curiosity of non-utilitarian object-hood and everyday life.
