Description: National Museums Liverpool is a museums and galleries group comprising eight venues. We attracted more than 2.7 million visitors in 2008. Our venues hold varied and unique collections covering everything from social history to space travel, entomology to ethnology, dinosaurs to docks, arts to archaeology. All the venues offer special events, exhibitions and features for a great family day out.

The venues are: Walker Art Gallery, World Museum, National Conservation Centre, Merseyside Maritime Museum (also home to Seized!, the national museum of HM Revenue and Customs) , International Slavery Museum, Lady Lever Art Gallery and Sudley House. An eighth venue, the new Museum of Liverpool (pictured), will open in 2011.

Exhibitions and events at all of the venues are free!
