Description: Stuart Walker explores issues about sustainability through the creation of functional objects which combine locally available materials with mass produced components. In his talk, Stuart will discuss ideas about environmental sustainability and recycling, illustrated by his designs including a door-bell, a bamboo reading-lamp, and a nutcracker.
